EVENTS 2023
POLIS
Conference
2023
took
place
on
29-30
November
in
Leuven, Belgium.
POLIS 2023
We
generated
considerable
interest
from
the
Asian
Development
Bank
in
Nepal
and
from
cities
in
Europe
such
as
Prague
and
Utrecht
who
appreciated
the
benefits
offered
by
our
technologies.
Over
900
delegates
attended
the
conference.
Our
detailed
model
of
the
BioElectric
Rego
X
Railcar attracted many enquires.
Check out the photos of our stand from the POLIS official site.

Climate Chance
Europe 2024
Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union
Wallonia Summit
February 8 & 9, 2024 | Liège - Palais des Congrès
Adaptation to Climate Change, Nature-based Solutions and Resilience
We
were
fully
engaged
in
the
concept
of
this
conference
as
adaption
and
resilience
to
climate
change
in
transport
is
key
to
continued delivery of services.
Of
interest
were
the
number
of
speakers
who
told
why
we
should
not
put
all
our
eggs
in
one
basket
(converting
transport
to
electric
operation
can
have
drawbacks).
For
example
after
the
catastrophic
flooding
in
Belgium
in
2021
many
areas
around
Liege
were
without grid electricity for 5 days.
Another
speaker
told
of
the
issues
faced
by
battery
electric
buses
during extreme heat and the need to curtail services.
BU.T.S.
technologies
do
not
require
connection
to
the
electric
grid
and
the
same
fuel
that
powers
our
trams
and
trains
can
also
supply
electricity for our depots.

Coming together to solve global challenges with European solutions
Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union
We
were
fully
engaged
in
the
concept
of
this
conference
that
kicked
off
INNOVEIT
with
the
2024
EIT
Summit,
where
we
heard
from
a
wide
range
of
inspiring,
high-level
speakers
across
the
policy,
business,
and
innovation worlds.
Our technology includes a wide range of innovations whilst utilising
off-the-shelf
components
whenever
possible
to
obtain
the
best
performance vis cost balance.
We
engaged
with
EIT
Knowledge
and
Innovation
Communities:
addressing global challenges through partnerships
Knowledge
and
Innovation
Communities
(KICs)
are
Europe-wide
networks
centred
around
addressing
a
specific
societal
challenge
from
sustainable energy to climate change to healthy food and green transport.
There
are
9
KICs
and
we
found
that
our
solutions
brought
benefits
to
6
of
the societal challenges.
